You have got to check out the anxiety/panic/depression forums on the web. They are a great sourse of information and encouragement. It really helps put things in perspective to read about other people's problems. Regardless of what you are going through, there is probably someone going through something worse. There is something very powerful about being able to say, "At least I'm not as screwed up as that guy." If you are one of the mentally blessed who does not suffer from any of the brain afflictions, check out the forums anyway. Get educated. Don't be ignernt.
I highly recommend crazyboards.org. This forum has a slightly irreverent and . . . well. . .crazy feel to it. Check it out. Good times.

I think it's both disheartening and encouraging to find there are so many peoole suffering the same things.
Disheartening because I just hate to wish this cr@p on anyone ele, but encouraging because the more peole there are that understand, the easier it is to deal with.
In am suffering quite badly with anxiety since about a month before I moved to the US. I have tingling arms and legs, especially my calves, I get regular IBS symptoms, i've recently added dizzy spells to the list too.
Of course my main fear as someone with HA, is MS, and I stress about it every day. Despite feeling better after a long hot bath or shower, and despite my doctor in the UK having tested my reflexes and told me i'm fine.
I think eventually i'll have to go for an MRI here just for some peace of mind.
Anxiety is evil, and I often think people don't see how debilitating it can be.
